RESEARCH x CREATIVE SOLUTION
Flying Carpets Games
Designed enemy visual effects for AA horror title in Unity with advanced shader techniques such as flow maps and screen distortion. Throughout production, I adapted team workflows by proactive communication to deliver polished assets.
Digital Stick LLC
Created a PBD-based physics simulation in C++ and Blueprints, optimizing collision logic to maintain a steady 60 FPS on mobile. Balancing client visual demands with strict hardware constraints, I delivered photorealistic gunpowder explosion effects using EmberGen and Niagara.
Loftia (Qloud Games)
Working on an open-world multiplayer console game, I built a scavenger hunt system that synchronized time-limited item collection across all clients. I integrated my item-tracking widgets into a legacy UI originally built by the lead programmer without disrupting the core architecture.
Backyard Symphony
Built a custom LiDAR calibration tool for interactive installations, cutting setup time by 4×. I also developed a C++ plugin for TouchDesigner to natively support YDLiDAR hardware. These tools allowed the team to focus on creativity rather than manual calibration with a low cost.
